Birthdays

It was Monica's birthday on the 12th and we hope she had a very nice birthday.  We're glad she is in our family.  

Home from Holly's

I just got home from a visit to help Holly. Her baby is still in the hospital and it's difficult to go to the hospital with two kids at home needing attention. I got to know the kids a lot better. Leah has been having a hard time missing her mom so much. Shannon is older and understands a little better. Christopher is having trouble eating and is back on a NJ tube. He throws up and loses weight.  Holly is having to try a diet without milk and milk products and no soy for a couple of weeks to see if that will help him.  We hope they finally find something that can help.  Keep them in your prayers.

Nickell's Birthday

Yesterday, the 10th was Nickell's birthday and I got to spend the evening with her in line at the Spaghetti Factory. We did finally get to eat. Yummy with yummy desserts. Holly and I and Jeny and Mark were with them. It was a lot of fun. Here I am in Utah and have no picture of her to post. But Happy Birthday to you and I'll put in a picture of you later.

Trip to California

We had a nice trip to Calif. We drove to Utah and rested a day. We went up to Holly's to see the baby and the whole family. Next day we drove to California with Jeny and Mark, Tara and Joe, and Spencer in Mark's car. It was squished for the long legged people in the back seat. Nice time had by all. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Santa Clarita while we were there. We did go over to say hello to those at Kristi's. David and Tricia flew in then too. The very beautiful wedding was on Saturday with the reception at a meeting house that night. It was a wild night. The decorations were beautiful and so were the bride and groom. Sunday we went to Sacrament Mtg then to Kristi's to eat leftovers from the wedding. Sunday Jeny and Mark wanted to go to the beach with Tara and Joe. It was then that Joe popped the question complete with a twine ring since the real one wasn't ready yet. Amazingly a group came over the hill behind them and saw what was happening and snapped a photo. Look on Tara's facebook to see that amazing picture. Couldn't have been planned better. How perfect!!! We came back on Monday and even stopped at Peggy Sue's Diner for lunch. We enjoyed being with everyone.
