Our family is 48 years old on the 28th
We got married May 28th, 1964 in Manti, at the Manti Temple. After the wedding we went to Lauritzen's for a lunch. Then I went to take my last final at BYU. I got my hair done after in an updo and the reception was at 7 I think. I was so excited that I forgot to throw my bouquet even though everyone gathered out at the decorated car. I didn't want to go, I just wanted to open presents. We had a lot of people and got very tired of smiling. My cheeks hurt for days. We drove to Canada through Montana. We stopped to see my Grandparents in Lewistown. Then through Waterton National Park, then Lake Louise where we were going to canoe on Lake Louise and sing. We took camping equipment to camp all the way but it was very cold and Lake Louise was frozen over for the first time in many years. So packing the guitar was useless. We rode the gondola and could see lots of mountain peaks. We camped at Yellowstone Park on the way home.
Kate and Lori
May 27 is Kate and Lori's birthday. Kate was with us in Utah for Tara's Wedding so we got to be with her for her birthday. Lori was having a nice quiet birthday in Texas. We hope they enjoyed their birthdays. We love them so much.
Tara's wedding
Tara's to Joe was the same day. It was beautiful and went off as planned except for the rain and the move inside the museum. Beautiful place for a reception. They were married in the Provo Temple.
Happy Birthday Grandpa(Dad) and David
We had a nice trip to Utah and I didn;t take the computer. So I'm late with a few greetings. A big happy Birthday to Dad and David. Hope you both had a good birthday.

Holly's friends
I had 3 best friends when I was in elementary school. Jason Woolsey, Nathan Richie, and Adam Decker. The three of us used to play on the swings during recess or play games on the playground. Sadly, I don't remember their phone numbers. (Jeny, you crack me up!) We had lots of fun together, but we didn't ever do anything outside of school. I had two built-in friends at home. Heidi and I played a lot of Barbies and Matt and I played catch for hours on end. The three of us used to love climbing the oak trees in the backyard and riding bikes.

Jeny's Friends
Here's my friend reply. I'm writing it from work because I am a little frustrated with work, so I'm taking it out on work.
My best friend growing up was Stephanie Chadwick-801-225-1009. I remember dialing her on the phone in the kitchen in West Jordan. It had a long, curly cord that was always tangled. Phones used to have cords, you know.
We usually played outside on either her swing set or in the ditch behind the Hardcastle's house (shhh, Don't tell Mom that)!
We loved to be Batman and Robin the most. I wonder why? I don't even think I liked watching Batman and Robin much, but that's what we were. When we played inside it was usually at our house, because I really didn't much like being in her house. It felt dark and cold. We would go in the basement and play with the fisher price castle. I really liked the trap door/dungeon! So cool! We could play with the fisher price things for hours. We also liked watching Bonanza (because Little Joe was so cute!) Stephanie saw "Jaws" with her family and was so tone deaf (although her mom made her take piano lessons anyway. She was AWFUL!) After she saw the movie, she often went to the piano and tried to play the music that happened when the shark was about to appear. Now that I have seen bits of Jaws, I still can't figure out what she was playing.
She was fun! I teased her about her lack of musical skills, and she teased me about my lack of any atheletic abiulities, and we got along great!I haven't heard anything form her for years. Last I heard she was in Alpine, and her hubby was a BYU Associate Professor of Business.
Now Mark is my best friend, and I like it that way!
