We’ve been in Hawaii now since Tuesday night, and have had several memories already. When we got here on Tuesday, Tara decided to put in her contacts and immediately started complaining about them burning her eyes. We (I) told her to rinse them off and hurry so we could go to the beach, and we walked around for a while in the sand and the ocean. When we got back to the hotel, she took the contacts out and started howling (really, she did). We irrigated her eyes as best we could, but at 1:00am (that’s 5:00am in Utah) the poison control lady said to just take her to a hospital. She has a “pretty severe” burn on her cornea from something that spilled in her makeup bag and got into her contact case, but it’s getting better quickly. Here she is on Wednesday the morning after the hospital fun. I didn’t’ get any pics at the hospital
This is her sultry look.
Spencer had his birthday here which was really fun, and today we went to the Polynesian cultural center, which was also very fun. It rained on us and we got soaked, so it was a memory, too. Tara asked why all the bad things that happen are called memories. Here are a few other pics.
This is my favorite! Aloha!
