Doesn't matter for us. Whenever. Nickell, I finally sorted through the stuff my mother in law sent and reduced it to one third. I'll get it sent on to you in the next few days.

I was just putting what the weekend date would be but since we aren't doing it at that place anymore and don't have to worry about weekend rates being different than weekday rates we can do either I would think. I don't know, what does everyone else think?

Oh, whoops. Mark is out of town and Tara is going to France on Sunday. I'm tired. I have been shopping (ugh) with Tara (triple ugh) twice this week. We could start our own July 4 balloon races at the family reunion. :)

How about pioneer day fireworks? Jason for sure can't come the first week of July.

do they have pioneer day in colorado? Rigth now my whole summer is wide opened. I voted july 1 because I was tired and confused about balloons. it's a frightful thing. I would like jason p to be able to come. Let's maybe try to work around schedules that can't be changed. mine can. anytime is good.

I don't know if it will affect 2010, but be advised that in 2009 the City of Colorado Springs has decided that due to budget constraints there will be no fireworks in Memorial Park this year.

The good news is that Uncle Wilbur in Acacia Park is going to be alive and well. Private donors contributed enough to keep it alive. The kids ought to be happy for that. The City had decided that Uncle Wilbur had to go -- again due to budget problems. Nice to know that there are generous people in the city willing to provide for the city's children.

what's uncle wilbur?

Uncle Wilbur is a big water fountain in Acacia park that the kids can play in. It's a lot of fun. There are water spouts in the ground that shoot up and a waterfall that comes down out of the center, and Uncle Wilbur pops up every 15 minutes or something like that playing a tune and shooting water out.

Wow. 20 votes and they total over 200%. Amazing. I didn't know we had such math whizzes in the family.
