Heidi's Name....
I don't have any story about how I got my name. My parents just liked it and that's what I got. I've never really felt one way or another about it. It's just a name. It means peacefully noble, but that doesn't mean much to me. Maybe that's something to live up to. I've met several other Heidi's in my life, and they've each looked and behaved differently.

What? no story? You were supposed to be Katie, and Lori and I both voted for that. Holly was supposed to be Megan. I guess Mindy liked the names that you and Holly were supposed to ahve so much that she gave them to her girls. There was a very serious "discussion" about what we would name you, we voted, and Lori and I lost. Just think how much better your life would be if you really were Katie.They should have gone with Lori and me, since we're always right.
Oh you just have no idea how disappointed Jeny and I were when you came home with your name. I think before Mom went to the hospital we had all decided on Katie and Kathie (two derivations of the same name, "Katherine"). When Mom & Dad brought you home, Mom said, "They just didn't look like a Katie and Kathie. They looked like a Heidi and Holly." Must have been inspired or something!!
