Grandpa was born May 26, 1940, in St. Anthony, Idaho. Grandma was born July 9, 1944 in Provo, UT. They were married May 28, 1964 in the Manti Temple. They went on to have 9 children. So far there are 37 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren!
We have had this wisteria vine on our back porch for at least ten years. Once before we got one spike of flowers. This is the first time it has really bloomed. Wish the picture did it more justice. It is beautiful.
YAY! Tere's back! Ok I just have to tell you, Mom called my home phone and I wasn't there, then called my cell phone twice ( I was driving and don't talk on the phone when I drive) and then paged me. I thought for sure someone had died. When I called her back she told me there was wisteria growing. Thank goodness nobody died!
Yay I'm back! hehe I'm behind because I was down in the great state of Texas and next month I get to go to CO!!! YAY! I'm so excited, but my kids will hate me by the end of this summer for all the time they have to spend in the car. That's hilarious that you were paged. I'm guessing wisteria in CO is a pretty big deal :)
Martha Stewart said if you hit the trunk of the wisteria with a bat or a hammer it will "shock" a tree or vine that hasn't bloomed in years into blooming. Maybe you should try it and see if it will go crazy with blossoms next year.
